I was interviewed last week by Robert McCartney of Washington Post. Basically he wanted to know about what I thought of John Riggins' comment and what I thought of his philanthropic activities in the area. Following is an excerpt from the article:

Showtime's Inside the NFL is creating a Team of the Aughts. Basically the team of this decade. Warren Sapp, Phil Sims and Chris Collinsworth picked Champ to be the best CB of the decade over Ronde Barber, Ty Law, Troy Vincent and Charles Woodson. He has gotten 55% of the votes on the website as well.
Fantasy team owners everywhere yawn as Portis is announced as being out for this weekends Broncos game:
Big name Redskins continue to be tops on lists of players to stay away from each week...
Our goal here is not complicated: Get Dan Snyder out of the decision making loop of our beloved Redskins.
For over a decade, Snyder has used the Redskins as his personal fantasy football team. Making one boneheaded decision after another and bringing this once proud franchise to its knees. Norv Turner, Marty Schottenheimer, Steve Spurrier and even the sainted (to Skins fans) Joe Gibbs have coached and lost here. The one constant during these years has been the man behind the curtain pulling the strings in all the wrong directions.
